ETD Workshops - Workshops to help you prepare a dissertation or thesis that meets KU and ProQuest submission standards.

ETD Online Tutorial and ETD Additional Materials - Online tutorials on dissertation and thesis submission.   

Self Care

Student Health Services – A broad range of health services, including a Walk-in Clinic.

Counseling and Psychological Services – Individual as well as group therapy, including a Dissertation Distress/Thesis Torment Group, Graduate Women’s Group, and Mindfulness Group.

KU Recreation Services – Information on campus fitness centers and programs.

Student Involvement and Leadership Center – Student organizations and programs at KU providing multiple ways to get involved and stay connected.

Careers & Professional Practice

University Career Center – Online resources and individual appointments to help graduate students prepare for a range of career options.

Resumes - University Career Center guide to preparing your resume.

Reference File Service - Service offered by the University Career Center to help compile and send reference letters for an academic job search.  A small fee is required. 

Center for Teaching Excellence – Both online materials and in-person training opportunities to prepare graduate students to teach.

Student Conduct Review Team – A valuable support for GTAs dealing with student behaviors that raise concern. 

Instructional Services – Offers technical training to students, staff and faculty on a variety of systems, including Endnote, Blackboard, Microsoft Office programs, and more. 

Responsible Scholarship – Research and Graduate Studies maintains a comprehensive listing of resources related to the responsible conduct of research.
