Three KU graduates named to "most powerful women" list : Sheila Bair, Cynthia Carroll and Kathleen Sebelius all earned degrees from CLAS. Bair is also a recipient of the CLAS Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award. Aug 20, 2009
Physics and astronomy professor to reunite with Discovery crewmates to mark anniversary : Steve Hawley, a former astronaut, was part of the debut mission of the space shuttle 25 years ago. He and two crewmates will participate in a roundtable discussion about the mission on Aug. 22 at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson. Aug 20, 2009
