Greg Simpson takes helm of CLAS

Simpson, chair of psychology, takes on a new role of interim dean on July 1. A KU alumnus, he has served on faculty in psychology since 1991. Simpson has held a previous administrative post, as an acting associate dean for the College in 2005-2006.

The New School of the Arts

A reorganization of the School of Fine Arts brings new departments and new opportunities to CLAS. The new School of the Arts, housed in the College, will host the departments of dance and visual art, in addition to newly created, separate departments of theater and film and media studies. Elizabeth Kowalchuk will oversee the new school as associate dean.
