Jessica Beeson is the Director of Alumni and Community Engagement for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her responsibilities involve designing and coordinating innovative academic programs to enhance community and alumni access to KU; supporting faculty in the College with community partnerships; and increasing opportunities to connect with College alumni and friends locally and nationally. Additionally, she is the College liaison to KU’s Business and Industry Outreach Office.

In addition to her work in the dean’s office, Jessica is a periodic lecturer in the African and African-American Studies Department.  She has a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas and an MA in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona.
