The Program and Policy Coordinator is a key member of the COGA team, providing administrative support for the governance work of the Committee on Graduate Studies, administrative support for awards and scholarships, and program and curricular changes. Cindy’s responsibilities also include the CLAS graduate academic catalog and program information; tracking policy and procedural changes, identifying opportunities for improvement to policy or procedure; ceremonies and event planning; and coordinating the dissemination of the College’s graduate policy.

Cindy began her career at KU working in the CLAS dean’s office. She also served as the assistant to the dean of the school of education, has worked at the Hall Center for the Humanities and administered their affiliate organization, The New Generation Society of Lawrence, and is an accomplished grant writer. She is pursuing degrees in African and African American Studies and English, with a minor in Applied Behavioral Science. Cindy is a member of the KU Advocacy Corps representing the Boy Scouts, and also volunteers with many not-for-profit service organizations.
