Lesley serves as the advisor for the three CLAS graduate programs based at the Edwards Campus: Communication Studies, Public Administration, and Global & International Studies. She advises students throughout their time at KU, including during the admissions process, through regular enrollment, through the thesis/exam process, and during graduation. She also recruits prospective students for her three programs, develops written and online communications, plans orientations and student engagement events at Edwards, and maintains student records in her departments.

Lesley is a native Kansan and a KU alumna with a BA in English and Humanities. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Penn State in 2009, where she also taught composition and creative writing. She loves working at a university and especially enjoys working with KU's diverse graduate student body.
