Meeting Times

The sub-committee meets during the academic year on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  The sub-committee does not meet if classes are not in session. 

Role of the Committee

  • Reviews and provides recommendations to the full committee on proposals for new graduate degrees, graduate certificate proposals, graduate certificate renewals
  • Reviews and provides recommendations to the full committee for the Byron A. Alexander/John C. Wright Graduate Mentor Awards and the Outstanding Thesis/Research Project Award, and
  • Reviews and provides recommendations to the full committee for the Allen S. Wilber Scholarship and the Kate Stephens Fellowship

Submissions

Those interested in submitting a proposal for a new graduate degree program or certificate should review this information and consult with their division's Associate Dean.  The initial proposal must be submitted to the Provost's Office by the College Dean's Office on behalf of the department.
