Tuition Compact

KU Four-Year Tuition Compact

These are the fixed, four-year, per-credit-hour rates that first-time, degree-seeking freshmen, resident and nonresident, will pay. Each incoming first-time freshman class pays its unique fixed rate tuition for four years.

This compact is not a tuition savings or discount plan: it establishes a fixed tuition rate for four calendar years. If you do not graduate in four years, you should anticipate an  increase in your tuition over your current tuition rate.
